Scarring is a common occurrence after accidents. These can be small, medium or extensive, and on any area of the body or face. Scarring can cause low-level anxiety up to extreme distress for men and women alike whether the scarring can be covered by clothing or not.

With an independent expert assessing the scars with respect to medical tattooing and skin camouflage it can help clients by giving them choices, information, and often a way to reduce the visibility of their scarring. An in-person consultation ensures an accurate and professional opinion on instruction of the claimant, the defendant, or joint instruction.

Rae Denman brings international patients to the UK for her specialist service in scar camouflage having formulated bespoke techniques for trauma scarring, surgical scarring and skin grafts. Using realistic hairstroke techniques to rebuild eyebrows, lash definition and lip symmetry post scarring or skin grafts, alongside scar re-pigmentation, faces can be rebuilt post trauma or surgery.

In 2015, Rae ran the Medical Tattoo and Camouflage clinic in the NHS Burns and Plastics Department at Morriston Hospital, Swansea offering nipple areola complex reformation with 3D nipple enhancement, as well as camouflage cream coverage and application for burns, scars, birthmarks, vitiligo, skin grafts, hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation.
