Are you looking for more defined and darker lips?
Medical tattooing can help create more defined and darker lips. Read on for more information on how this can be achieved with a natural look
This blog starts with a direct question from a patient which I thought I would share as it is a common question:
“If I want my lips to look more defined and slightly darker can this be done naturally?”
Yes, every area of the body that I work on can be made to look as natural as possible. I add definition, symmetry, and colour without looking ‘made up’ or unnatural.
I am looking for a colour that exists in your natural lip tone and then intensifying it, looking at the way it enhances your skin tone, as well as making your eye colour ‘pop’. Some colours enhance, some neutralise and some dull and overtake the features. We need to be able to see what the chosen colour does to all aspects of your face. Your eyes, skin tone, cheeks and lips. We want to neutralise the redness and blemishes, enhance the blue/green/brown colour of the iris, add more soft blush to the cheeks and voluminous rosiness to the lips. These are all signs of health.
Achieving this naturally is about staying fit and active. Drink plenty of water, taking in less caffeine and alcohol, less acid-based foods such as red meat, chocolate, processed foods, and more vegetables and alkaline-based ‘real’ food.
Dealing with stresses in your life and taking an active role in looking after yourself physically, mental/emotionally and spiritually can help with your skin, hair, eye brightness, and nail health.
Medical Tattooing and semi-permanent makeup aren’t about masking or covering, it’s about enhancing and utilising your own individual natural beauty.
