This patient has a leg scar/scald from a cup of coffee spilled on them as a child. She had 3 treatments of laser which made the texture smoother, followed by scar revision, which improved the colour and texture. She then had 6-7 Microneedling treatments which only offered a tiny bit of improvement.

Following these procedures, the patient booked to see Rae Denman for medical tattooing to improve the hypopigmentation. Hyperpigmentation can’t be improved with medical tattooing as there’s a high risk of it going darker. Rae managed to even out the colour so it’s less noticeable using her medical tattooing skills. The patient was pleased with the result.
