Medical Tattooing is for every gender, all skin tones, and every area of the body.
It can be difficult for men to find appropriate treatments when the area of concern is considered cosmetic, or they may have had to resort to self-help techniques and products that have always been directed at females. Perhaps it is within an intimate area and embarrassment is an added concern.
Medical tattooing is for every gender. We work with hairloss, scarring, skin grafts, hypopigmentation, cleft lips, and vitiligo on all genders, all skin tones, and on every area of the body.
Male Brow Loss
This particular treatment shown below in the video, is a male that lost his eyebrow over a period of weeks. It had never happened before and dermatologists were stuck as to how to help him. He tried a few different treatments to no avail, and had been on steroid cream for 6 months. There was no change. He resorted to drawing on his brow with a crayon/brow pencil. He didn’t have this particular skill and had never applied these products before so the application was difficult. He also found the drawn-on brow would wear off during the day, and he needed to be so careful not to rub his forehead or sweat too much, as it could end up halfway down his face, all resulting in adding another layer of anxiety and embarrassment.
Thankfully he managed to find out about Medical Tattooing online and was offered a free of charge phone-call to decided if he was suitable and if this was the best path for him, which it was. It was in fact, the only path he could take to get a realistic, long-lasting result.
Treatment for brow
The first treatment consisted of mapping out the area where the brow would have been, and drawing on a number of hair strokes to give a good visual base. It healed remarkably well with barely any fading or migrating of the strokes. The second treatment that was performed five weeks later entailed more fine tuning of the whole shape, as well as adding hair strokes and more depth to the brow area.
Each treatment took an hour and a half to complete, leaving 4 weeks for the full healing process, although the top layer of skin was healed after seven days. He experienced no problems with the healing process, and noticed immediately that people at work were no longer drawn to that area of his face, and stopped asking him questions about it. Everything returned to normal for him. He was no longer scared of touching his face, scared of sweating as the weather was getting warmer, and felt more confident and back to his old self.
